Netguru to wire up Jharkhand

Jharkhand government has tied up with Netguru India, a division of Nasdaq listed Netguru Inc. The project, titled "Jharkhand Online" shall be completely undertaken by Netguru and monitored by the project implementation committee of Jharkhand IT department.
 
The development comes close on the heels of the initiatives taken by the states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal in the field of e-governance.
 
S Bhanja, COO of Netguru, (Asian operations), said: "This is a landmark initiative of the Jharkhand IT department and we are proud to be a part of the same. We have already identified the core team that will be working on the same."
 
The project will be headed by Manoj Mishra, head of Netguru's digital media division and Amit Sahai, head of marketing at Netguru India. The core team comprises of software professionals having core competency in this field.
 
The e-governance project is aimed at providing the general public better access to government officials and systems and also to act as the platform for better communication and collaboration.
