Ozone Ayurvedics all set to launch premium products

Priyanka Sangani Mumbai
Ozone Ayurvedics, maker of 'no marks' anti-blemish products, is considering introducing products from its international portfolio in India.

Parminder Sandhu, chief executive " operations, said the company would soon introduce products from its Home Spa range, which includes classical ayurvedic oils that would cater to specific problems.

"We are bringing in an anti-blemish and complexion enhancing oil, among others, and also handmade soaps," he said. These products would be positioned in the mass premium segment and retailed through the modern format stores.

The company is also expanding its retail presence internationally and plans to start selling in the US soon.

Apart from expanding its product range, the company will focus on strengthening its presence in other categories. Sandeep Ghosh, vice-president (sales and marketing), said, "In categories like scrub soap and face wash, we have a decent market share despite almost no initiatives on the ad and marketing front. This year, we will look at growing these categories."

Sandhu said the company was aiming for about 300 per cent growth in the face wash segment and 300-400 per cent growth in the soap category.

This year, the company also plans to double the number of beauty advisors it has in retail outlets from 250 to 500.
