Ramky Enviro bags $4.2-mn order

Hyderabad-based waste management services company, Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited, has bagged a project from United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, Austria, for executing ‘Environmentally-Sound Management and Final Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in India’ valued at $4.2 million.
The project envisages setting up of a fully-automated plant using non-combustion technology for the decontamination of PCB oil, PCB contaminated oil and wastes and used power transformers. The turnkey project will be implemented at the Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh in two years, a release said.
