The public sector fertiliser major Rashtriya Chemicals &amp; Fertilisers Ltd (RCF) has posted a 54 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 51.37 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 33.31 crore in the corresponding last year.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>Total income during the quarter increased to Rs 1389.29 crore from Rs 948.26 crore. <BR>For the full financial year 2007-08, the company reported a marginal 6.32 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 158.15 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 148.74 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total income during the year rose to Rs 5236.36 crore from Rs 3571.52 crore. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
