Suzlon Energy today said its subsidiary REpower Systems has bagged a contract for supplying 150 wind turbines to Canada-based Saint-Laurent Energies.
Suzlon Energy is a majority shareholder in REpower Systems with a holding of over 90 per cent.
In two phases, REpower will deliver, install and commission 54 and 96 turbines, the company said in a statement.
The company, however, did not disclose the financial details of the contract.
The turbines have a total power capacity of 300 Mw and would used at a wind farm project at Quebec in Canada.
Shares of Suzlon Energy closed at Rs 51.56, down 1.24 per cent.
