Public sector steel major, Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has clarified that it was holding the price line, in line with its commitment.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>SAIL&nbsp;today released a statement saying, it maintained its prices for the domestic market during the month of June 2008 at the same level as that of May. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>SAIL&nbsp;has maintain the same price level for the domestic market in the month of July 2008 as well.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The steel ministry has summoned producers today to explain an increasing trend in prices in the month of June.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>SAIL&nbsp;has urged the user industries, other consumers, as well as trading channels to ensure that the price benefit gets passed on to the ultimate consumers. </P></p></table>
