Samson Controls sets up another facility in Pune

It will manufacture products such as globe control valves, conventional positioners; self operated pressure and temperature regulators

Germany based valve manufacturer Samson Controls Pvt Ltd has set up another facility at Ranjangaon in Pune.

It will manufacture products such as globe control valves, conventional positioners; self operated pressure and temperature regulators.

The products will be cater to sectors like oil and gas, infrastructure, mining, power generation, petro-refineries. The company has so far invested Rs 130 crore in Inida and will further invest Rs 65 crore in the next three years. Factories using Samson equipment produce plastics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, petroleum products, and paper.

With the addition of the new faculty, the installed capacity of the company will rise by 40 per cent from its current 10,000 control valves per year in the next three years. Commenting on this, Atul Raje, managing director, Samson Controls Pvt. Ltd. said, "This second production facility at MIDC Ranjangaon is a  part of our expansion plan which will help us to participate in the domestic market which is growing. This new production platform will driven by all processes and systems transferred from our German production platform. Along with this, new investments in the production plants are under implementation to introduce new product portfolios from Samson Germany to India."
