Sepia plans 50 new stores

| Sepia, Texport Syndicate's designer clothing brand is in expansion mode. The company is planning to open 50 new stores for a nation-wide presence. |

| Sepia launched its first store at Kataria Mall in Mumbai in August 2006 and has just launched its second outlet in Ahmedabad.The new stores are being planned at Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata by November 2007. |
| "We are planning to invest around Rs 25-30 crore for the expansion and hope to take our turnover to around Rs 50 crore in the next three years, " Rakesh Desai,CEO,Sepia said. |
| Talking to Business Standard on why they had opened their second outlet in Ahmedabad, Desai said, "The current market offers plenty of opportunities for growth, which would further be supplemented by the emergence of retailing in the city. |
| "Sepia is targeting the age group of 25-40 years and is set to tie-up with fashion and lifestyle chains in the country. "We have tied up with six well known stores such as Shoppers Stop and Life Style and we are planing to launch a new special collection soon in December" designer Priyadarshini Rao said. |
| Future plans for the company include creating a strong presence in north India followed by the south. Texport Syndicate, which owns Sepia, has a list of clientele that includes Gap,Walmart, Arrow, H&M, A&F,Jc Penney, American Eagle and Next, among others. |
