Set Max, Espn Slug It Out Over Cricket Ratings

BUSINESS STANDARD

SET Max, a hybrid channel of movies and cricket, has gained in cricket viewership ratings if the recently released AC Nielsen TAM data for the first three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy, Srilanka 2002, is anything to go by.

The channel saw a 32 per cent growth in overall viewership compared to the recently concluded the Natwest series in England which was aired on ESPN Star Sports. The TAM data is based on target audience of four years and above individuals across all the 15 markets in India. Of the 32 per cent growth in overall viewership, 44 per cent growth was in female viewership and 23 per cent growth in male viewership.
