SQL Star acquires US company

SQL Star International Limited, a Hyderabad-based information technology company, has acquired the consulting business of US-based SolutionNet Group for an undisclosed amount.

SolutionNet is stated to be a 10-year-old consulting and product group with an annual turnover of $ 5 million.

As per the acquisition deal, SQL Star international will be taking over SolutionNet consulting business in US while its wholly-owned subsidiary, International SQL Star Pte, will take over the Singapore business. The Australian business will be taken over by the company's Australian subsidiary.

"This acquisition will help us consolidate our global on-site consulting," SQL Star chairman and managing director N R Ganti stated in a press release here on Wednesday.
