Tata Steel, VSC sign MoU for cold rolling mill

Tata Steel today signed an MoU with Vietnam Steel Corporation (VSC) for a proposed cold rolling mill.

The company had earlier signed an MoU with VSC for a steel project in the Ha Tinh province in Vietnam.

Tata Steel already has a joint venture with VSC through NatSteel, which is a Singapore-based wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

Tata Steel will have 65% stake in the project, which will be initiated on successful completion of the feasibility study and financial closure.
