Indians continue to dominate the Asian business leaders sweepstakes. Following in the footsteps of K V Kamath of ICICI Bank, S Ramadorai, CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, has been conferred the Asia Business Leader Award 2002 presented by CNBC Asia Pacific and TNT in Hong Kong on Thursday.
Other nominees for the award included business leaders from Asian countries such as China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
The other Indian nominees included Kumar Birla, Azim Premji, Mukesh Ambani, among others.

B Ramalinga Raju, chairman of Satyam Computer, won the best corporate citizen of the year award at the same function.
Ramadorai was unanimously selected for the award by a distinguished panel of judges led by Hellmut Schutte which comprised leading businessmen, management thinkers and journalists from all over Asia.
Ramadorai is the second Indian to receive the award, instituted for the first time last year, when K V Kamath, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank who bagged it last year.
