Textport unveils new range of air-conditioners

Kolkata-based Textport Electronics Limited today launched its AVI range of air-conditioners for the Hyderabad and Telangana region.

The company will soon launch its products later this month in Karnataka, early next month in Kerala, and in Haryana, Uttaranchal and Jharkhand in the coming few months.

Speaking at the launch here, Raj Sahai, MD, Textport Electronics Limited, said, "We will soon be launching our products in Karnataka, Kerala and in the central and northern regions."

Textport first launched its products in Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh in February 2005.

The company gets its products manufactured according to specifications in a specially dedicated leased unit in China and markets them through its marketing arm, AVI Marketing & Services Limited, in the country.

"We use compressors of international repute such as Hitachi and the design concept for our products has been conceptualised by a firm in Italy," said Sahai.
