Thyssenkrupp, Tata Steel delay signing of JV; may take place after June

Thyssenkrupp and Tata Steel in September agreed in principle to combine their European steel activities

  Thyssenkrupp on Thursday said that plans to set up a steel joint venture with India's Tata Steel would suffer a delay, hampered by ongoing negotiations between Tata and its workers in Britain and the Netherlands. Boards at both companies were expected to decide on the venture by the end of June, Thyssenkrupp said, adding that the signing was planned to take place afterwards.
