Bangalore-based Titan Industries Limited on Wednesday reported a 21.3 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 180 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 compared to Rs 148 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The watch, jewellery, eyewear and precision engineering products manufacturer from the Tata Group saw its total income for the July-September quarter going up 8.6 per cent to Rs 2,276 crore as against the corresponding quarter last year.
The operating profit for the second quarter went up by 19 per cent to Rs 236 crore compared to the same period last year.
