We are not interested in hostile takeover: YC Deveshwar

ITC was not trying to increase its stake in  EIH,  the Oberoi Group flagship company, said YC Deveshwar, chairman, ITC, at the annual general meeting of the company in Kolkata on Friday.

ITC owns a little more than 14  per cent in EIH.

“We are not interested in a hostile takeover," said Deveshwar. ITC is also not looking at launching new brand in the near future, and is also delaying the launch of its hotel project in Bangalore.
