| Welspun Group Chairman passes away |

Welspun Group founder and Chairman G R Goenka has passed away.
Goenka breathed his last yesterday in Anjar City in Gujarat. He was 71.
The company will hold prayer meetings in New Delhi and Mumbai on December 31, 2008 and January 2, 2009, respectively.
