Covid-19 second wave: Majority of Delhiites in favour of extending lockdown

As the second wave of the pandemic continues to touch a new high every day, fear has engulfed residents of Delhi like never before. A recent survey conducted across the capital shows nearly seven out of ten Delhi residents are now in favour of remaining locked inside their homes as the capital’s health care infrastructure continues getting choked. The survey conducted by LocalCircles in all the 11 districts of the city reflects the change in opinion among Delhiites. While 28 per cent of the respondents said they want the curfew to be extended for three weeks, 20 per cent are in favour of a fortnight curfew, while another 20 per cent said they want the ongoing measures to continue for another week.
