Cricket coach booked for sexually assaulting five teenage boys

All the students are reported to be between 12 to16 years of age

A cricket coach in Hyderabad was on Tuesday booked for allegedly sexually abusing five teenage boys, who were taking coaching from him.

The matter pertains to the Chandanagar Police Station which comes under Cyberabad Commissionerate.

A 16-year old boy's family today lodged a complaint at the Chandanagar Police Station against the coach named Salam, alleging that he took the five students in the coach room during rest time and allegedly tried to have unnatural sex with them.

All the students are reported to be between 12 to16 years of age.

A case has been registered under Sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 511 of the IPC and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
