Jethabhai Bharwad elected as vice-chairman of GCMMF

Jethabhai Bharwad, chairman of Panchmahal District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd, Godhra has been unanimously elected as the vice chairman of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (GCMMF) today.

Speaking on the occasion, Jethabhai Bharwad said that he will strive hard to fulfill the new responsibility that has been assigned to him.

Shankarbhai Chaudhary, the newly elected Chairman of Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd., Palanpur, said that Amul has now attained the stature of an internationally recognised brand and there should be no politics in brand marketing, business and quality of milk and milk products.

GCMMF is India's largest food products marketing organisation with annual sales turnover of Rs 21,000 crores. It is a co-operative federation of 3.6 million milk producers across 18,500 villages of Gujarat affiliated to 17 district cooperative milk producers unions.
