EOW of Mumbai police had arrested Nilesh Patel on Tuesday

Nilesh Patel, managing director of N K Proteins, the largest defaulter of the National Spot Exchange Ltd (NSEL) has been sent to police custody till October 28.

Economic Offense Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police had arrested him on Tuesday.

The Megistrate court also sent Jai Bahukundi and Amit Mukherjee, the two the then NSEL officials, to judicial custody till October 31

The court asked EOW to invoke MPID Act to attach their property.
