Ajit Flays Wheat Import

Bharatiya Kisan Kamgar Party (BKKP) president and former food minister, Ajit Singh, has criticised the Centres move to import wheat describing it as an offshoot of the alleged corruption in the food corporation of India. There was no need to import wheat as the deficit in the local production was not very big, he said. Besides, the country did not have the storage capacity, he said.
