| The State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation is holding an annual 'Nandi theatre festival' from June 19 here at Ravindra Bharati Auditorium. |
| About 32 theatre associations and nearly 300 artists will be taking part in the eight-day event, according to K V Ramanachary, managing director of the corporation. |
| The whole event would cost the government between Rs 20 lakh and 25 lakh, he said. |
| Ramanachary, who is also the commissioner of Information and Public Relations department, said that all those plays and playlets which receive awards in the ensuing competition would be exhibited across the state and also in other places where Telugu associations are actively involved with the cultural activities. |
| The government is also keen to enlist the support of the South Central Zone cultural centre for this endeavour, he told the media. |
