BJP’s Karnataka unit will meet here on Thursday to chalk out an agitational path, against the recommendation of the Ranganath Mishra Commission on reservation for minorities.
Eshwarappa said the recommendation’s implmentation would not be “tolerated” by dalits and backward classes. This recommendation is an “injustice” for them, he said.
He said the February 25 meeting will discuss BJP’s preparations for panchayat elections, expected in April. BJP will appoint an election in-charge in each panchayat while party office-bearers and ministers would be in-charge of various districts vis-a-vis polls.
Eshwarappa also released the list of state BJP office-bearers.
