CCS on Indo-Pak talks

| The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) yesterday met and discussed the issues to be negotiated at the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan on Septemeber 5 and 6. |
| "The whole situation and the negotiating points were discussed," Defence Minister Paranab Mukherjee told reporters emerging from the 90-minute long meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. |
| Mukherjee, however, declined to divulge the details. |
| Pakistan Foreign Minister Khursheed Mahmmud Kasuri would be meeting External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh as part of the composite dialogue process, he said. |
| He said the Prime Minister would brief opposition leaders and the External Affairs Minister would brief leaders of the ruling upa before the formal talks. |
| The meeting was attended among others by Home Minister Shivraj Patil, External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh, Finance Minister P Chidambaram and centre's pointsman on talks on Jammu and Kashmir N N Vohra. |
