A new industrial area focused to provide space for small and medium industries would come up in Tilda-about 50 kms from the state capital of Chhattisgarh.
The industrial area would be developed by the state-run Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC), which had developed 10 industrial areas across the state.
Of the 10 industrial areas, six are located in Raipur while three have been established in Bilaspur district. In Durg district, one industrial area has been set up. The proposed project in Tilda will be the seventh industrial area in Raipur district.
