CM calls for revival of sick IDPL

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Wednesday asked the Centre to look into the matter pertaining to the sick Rishikesh-based Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL) plant which is awaiting a Centre's revival plan. Rawat met Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Ananth Kumar at New Delhi and urged him to take steps for the revival of the IDPL.

Rawat said the revival of the company would help provide essential medicines and generic drugs to central and state government organisations at a reasonable price.
