Consumer confidence dips for the second qtr

Consumer confidence among Indians in the September quarter of the current calendar year was three points lower than the corresponding period a year ago. It stood at 119 to last year's 121, according to market research agency Nielsen. Yet, Indians, along with Indonesians, continue to be the most upbeat globally, says the study.
