Fapcci announcs 17 awards

The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Fapcci) on Thursday announced its annual awards for the year 2005-06.

The awards will be presented to the winners at a function scheduled to be held in the city on Friday. Chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy will be the chief guest for the awards ceremony.

List of the companies that won the Fapcci 2005-06 awards: Kesoram Cements, Karimnagar (excellence in industrial productivity), Hindustan Zinc Limited, Visakapatnam (all-round performance), Navata Road Transport, Vijayawada (workers' welfare), Bharat Dynamics Limited, Hyderabad (research and development), Lee Pharma Limited, Hyderabad (research and development -- small scale industry), Volta Impex Private Limited, Hyderabad (outstanding export performance), Sri Ramalingeswara Rice and Oil Mills, Velpur, West Godavari (outstanding export performance "� small scale industry), Minwool Rock Fibres Limited, Hyderabad (excellence in product innovation), Zen Technologies, Hyderabad (production innovation - small scale industry), Aakruthi Agricultural Associates of India, Hyderabad (excellence in rural development), Charion Power Corporation Limited, Hyderabad (excellence in non-conventional and renewable energy development and application), Sanghi Polysters Limited, Hyderabad (excellence in environmental management), Godavari Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited, Secunderabad (outstanding contribution for welfare of socially, economically and physically challenged destitute women), and Prithvi Information Solutions Limited, Hyderabad (excellence in information technology).
