Gowda Meets Rao

Sources close to Rao said the Congress President was to visit Gowda on Saturday to congratulate him on his unopposed election to the Rajya Sabha. Rao had even got a bouquet for Gowda. However, Rao's aides advised him against it saying it would be seen as his move to seek the Prime Minister's help in court cases on Rao. The twentyfourth visit of Gowda to 9, Motilal Marg residence of Rao lasted for 45 minutes.
