Anil Sharma Jaipur
Jaipur is soon going to have an international trade park. Being set up by R F Properties & Trading Pvt Ltd, a leading real estate developer, the Rs 325-crore World Trade Park will be a single-stop shop in trading for manufacturers and traders in India and around the world.

The one-of-its-kind project in India, slated to be completed in two years, would offer all modern facilities like a trade fair hall, exhibition centre, shopping centre, convention and business centre, office and display centre, hotels and clubs, three-screen multiplex, cyber-friendly building, evening shows and performance zones, auditoriums and theatres under a single roof.

Speaking at a press conference here today, Sajjid Khan, chairman, R F Properties & Trading, said, "The World Trade Park promises to bring world business under one roof. It will be a milestone project that will put India on the international trading map.

"The World Trade Park is the only service infrastructure that will enable businesses to access a larger domestic and global market."

"This will push up the employment rate by 5"6 per cent," Khan said.

According to Promoter Director Anoop Bartaria, "Rajasthan is fast emerging as a destination for international trade and commerce, in addition to gems & jewellery, textiles, agro foods and handicrafts. This project will transform Jaipur into an international commercial city, attracting investments from all sectors."

The World Trade Park will have a unique design, in the shape of the legs of an octopus ready to gobble up all business opportunities in its fold.

Bartaria said the World Trade Park would provide a window for commercial trading, retail, and business services. "The total business will be not less than Rs 7,000-8,000 crore," he felt.
