ISRO chief Kasturirangan joins Planning Commission

The government has appointed K Kasturirangan, the former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation, as a member of the Planning Commission

"Dr K Kasturirangan has been appointed as member of the Planning Commission," an official said.

Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Montek Ahluwalia earlier this week said that Kasturirangan would be appointed as a member of the Commission.
