Jharkhand focus on strengths

The Jharkhand council of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) has drawn up a plan to highlight the competitive advantages of the state in minerals, metals and manufacturing.

"Last year CII followed its national focus on competiveness with thrust on 3-S for 'sharing success stories'. In the new fiscal, the focus would shift," said CII Jharkhand council deputy director Amitabh Srivastava.

The CII Jharkhand council will hold its AGM here on April 3, to be attended by CII eastern regional council chairman Sanjay Budhia.

Present state council vice-chairman H M Nerurkar is expected to take over as the new chairman from B L Raina, managing director of Tinplate Co.
