A total of 65 projects with a total investment of Rs 1,062.02 crore were cleared by Karnataka government's State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) last weekend.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The SLSWCC is empowered to give a green signal for projects with investments up to Rs 50 crore. Prominent among the projects cleared were a flight training school at Mysore and hospitals with latest dialysis equipment in Bidar, Gulbarga, Bijapur, Davanagere, Mangalore and Mysore. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>The highest number of proposals received were with regards to setting up metal-based industries; a total of 13 proposals with investments to the tune of Rs 350.42 crore. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>Tourism sector received seven proposals with a total investment of Rs 208.05 crore, industries minister Murugesh R Nirani said. </P></p></table>
