Maharashtra sand mining e-auction

The Maharashtra government, which has come under attack for rising cases of illegal sand mining and attack against revenue officials, proposes to launch e-auction of sand. State revenue minister Balasaheb Thorat told reporters his department has already launched e-tendering to bring in transparency.
