Anant Gangaram Geete, the politician, has his priorities clear: the first thing he did on Tuesday was catch the morning flight to Mumbai to seek the blessings of Shiv Sena Supremo Balasaheb Thackeray.
But as Anant Gangaram Geete, Union power minister, walked into his office in New Delhi later in the day, he looked nervous. Asked to spell out his agenda, Geete said he had set a two-month time-frame for reviving the Dabhol power project. The troubled venture, incidentally, is located in his constituency, Ratnagiri.
What about other areas of power reforms? The new minister knows his limitations.
