Mukul Sinha to contest elections from Sabarmati

Social activist and senior Gujarat High court lawyer Mukul Sinha on Thursday filed his nomination from the Sabarmati constituency in Ahmedabad on behalf of the New Socialist Movement (NSM). Sinha who has been representing the 2002 riot victims at different forums is the president of the NSM.

The NSM has decided to oppose BJP in the coming assembly election and support all independent candidates with clean image who are willing to oppose the official candidate of the ruling party, NSM general secretary Amrish Patel said in a statement.
