Nabard had pumped Rs 7,881 crore in Madhya Pradesh state rural refinances through its various promotional initiatives during 2012-13. Of this, Rs 6,072 crore had gone to agriculture sector to boost investment credit and capital, form mechanisation, minor irrigation, rural housing, dairy and poultry and non-form sectors.

The bank said it had released Rs 3,000 crore for creation of rural infrastructure, of which Rs 282 crore had been sanctioned for creation of warehouses in rural areas.
