NEWSALERT: Climate accord voluntary, not binding, says PM

The Copenhagen Accord, which we fully support and will take forward, is a catalogue of voluntary commitments and not a negotiated set of legal obligations, says Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. 

India has full confidence in the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) process and its leadership and will support it in every way it can, said Singh.
