Overall I think this is a good Budget and I welcome it. I feel that this Budget is pro-poor and has tried its best to bridge the divide between the rich and the poor and the rural and urban population, which is considerable in our country.

There are several schemes, which aim at creating urban infrastructure in rural areas in this Budget, especially with regard too power reforms. I welcome the high allocations to the social sector in this Budget and hope that these percolate to the intended population.

As far as my state of Karnataka is concerned, there isn't much specifically for it. There are some plans for the award of an ultra mega power project or 4000 Mw and also an expressway between Bangalore and Chennai. I welcome it.
