Pak nuke assets are in safe hands: PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said he believed Pakistan's nuclear assets were in safe hands.

"We have been assured that their nuclear assets are in safe hands and I do not want to disbelieve that assurance," Singh told reporters here when asked if Taliban could misuse Pakistan's nuclear assets posing a threat to India.

Singh was on a day-long visit to Guwahati for electioneering.
