Power Ministry To Seek 40% More

The power ministry is planning to seek a 40 per cent increase in the allocation for the Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (APDRP) for 2003-04. The ministry is planning to seek Rs 5,000 crore for the programme in 2003-04 as against Rs 3,500 allocated in 2002-03.
