Pune blast: Death toll climbs to 10

The death toll in the Pune blast today rose to ten, with one more person succumbing to injuries, police said.

Twenty-four-year-old Abhishek Saxena, a resident of Lucknow, died in the city-based Dudhrani hospital, they said. Saxena was a student of D Y Patil college.

His body has been handed over to his parents, police added.

In the first major attack after 26/11, terror struck Pune on February 13 as a powerful bomb ripped apart at a popular bakery-cum-cafe near the Chabad House injuring 57.
