Revenue Dept Rules Out Special Deal For E-Com Profits

The government will tax e-commerce as any other business. Revenue department officials told Business Standard that no changes are required in the Income Tax Act for this.

They said the profits accruing through e-commerce will be treated as normal business profits for taxation purposes.
