Shourie Decries Bjps Stance

In a corporate war that spilled over to the Sangh Parivar, Union disinvestment minister Arun Shourie countered his detractors within the BJP by mobilising support of Union home minister LK Advani and party president Jana Krishnamurthy.

Shourie was upset over the statements attributed to BJP general secretary Sunil Shastri and economic cell chief Jagdish Shettigar who were critical of the process of disinvestment applied in the VSNL.
