The Ka Bri Hynniewtrep State Movement of Meghalaya (KBHSM), a new Khasi

separatist outfit, has demanded creation of a `Hynniewtrep state, consisting of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi districts of the state. At a public rally here on Tuesday, it urged the Centre to evolve new legislations to protect the Hynniewtrep community from being swamped by migrants from other parts of the country.
