Teachers' pay

In an attempt to encourage technical education, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) will offer partial financial assistance to state governments adopting and implementing the revised pay for teachers in degree-level technical institutions, on a par with the University Grants Commission (UGC) scales of pay.
