Turmoil softening crude prices, says EAC chief
GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS

The current global financial crisis will have some benefit for India in reducing the fiscal and trade deficits, Suresh D Tendulkar, chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC), said on Friday.
“The financial crisis is leading to softening of crude and material prices. This will help us, though our capital flow could get affected,” Tendulkar said.
