Vibration 2007 from today

| Vibration 2007, a two-day national-level technical festival kicks off tomorrow. The event, being organised for the last five years by the V V P Engineering College of Rajkot, has seen registration of 1,000 participants plus students this year. |
| The participants, who are studying in various engineering and technical institutes across the country, have responded to the event by sending over 2,000 entries in several technical competitions to be held during the festival. |
| Explaining the motto behind Vibrations 2007, V V P Engineering College chairman Pravin Maniar, told Business Standard, "When the country is turning out to be a global outsourcing destination, such technical events let students have exposure to practical avenues and applications to be adhered to in the professional world, once they are out of the institute." |
| Vibration 2007 is also a platform for interaction for techies from across the country, who not only present their skills but also attain practical discourses from the techie stalwarts invited from several discipline who share the latest trends and business practices in current globally competitive environment, claimed Maniar. |
| Maniar said "this year we have envisaged a special career guidance programme exclusively designed to address the secondary school students vide which guidance would be given to the interested students who wish to shape their career in allied engineering discipline. We have invited panel of expert speakers and career counsellors who would share their experiences and guide the students accordingly." |
