Workshop on 'workplace policy on AIDS'

Satyam Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Satyam Computer Services Ltd, organised a workshop on 'Workplace policy on HIV/AIDS, interventions and implementations."

The workshop was aimed at sensitising HR managers across various industries so that employees are not discriminated against the basis of their HIV/AIDS status, a media statement said.

The workshop was inaugurated by K Rosaiah, minister for health and finance, Andhra Pradesh. There was participation from various companies and industry bodies like Deloitte, Wipro, Confederation of Indian Industry and Dr Reddy's Laboratories.
